This is the Vigil Mass for the feast is celebrated on January 1, a celebration of Mary’s motherhood of Jesus. On this day, we are reminded of the role that the Blessed Virgin Mary played in the plan of our salvation. Through the Holy Spirit, God the Father prepared Mary to be the dwelling place where His Son and His Spirit could dwell among men. Calling Mary “Mother of God” is the highest honor we can give to her. She is our “Queen of Peace.”

Esta Misa Vigilia es para la fiesta que se celebra el 1 de Enero, la celebración de la maternidad de Jesús en María. En esta día, recordamos el papel importante de la Santísima Virgen María en el plan de nuestra salvación. Por medio del Espíritu Santo, Dios nuestro Padre preparó a María para ser lugar de vivienda donde Su Hijo y Su Espíritu pudiera vivir entre los hombre. Dándole a María el titulo, “Madre de Dios” es el mas grande honor que le podemos dar. Ella es “Nuestra Reina de Paz”.
